These are simple 1" [25.4mm] tags that hang from a collar, signaling a sub's status. They are thin (1.5mm) because they are designed for printing and gluing together, allowing customization using the blank tag as a starting point. Customization is key. You can find the icons outlined at http://www.ownership-possession.com/icons-explanation, but I based mine on designs found here, thanks to the inclusion of a 'littles' variant for a friend: http://blog.beautifullybound.com.au/bdsm/bdsm-symbols-and-their-meanings.htm. The icons are flush with the tag's face, and the middle floor is half the overall thickness. The design allows for flexibility. UPDATE: I've added puppy variants with paw prints in the middle of the tags, both owned and un-owned versions.
