These are replacement parts I designed and utilized for my Beyerdynamic DTX 501p headphones. They deliver exceptional sound quality and provide optimal comfort, but the plastic components persistently break apart, even when stored in their original rigid case. Two apparent weak points emerge - the top of the semi-circle holding the can, and the joint at the bottom of the long plastic piece that supports the adjustment mechanism. Over time, all original parts cracked in these areas. The replacement components should be largely compatible with existing hardware, so you don't need to replace what remains intact. However, there is no adjustment mechanism within the upper part, which may result in an inadequate fit for larger heads following repair. You might consider adjusting it in some manner and relying on friction to hold it in place, but I did not attempt this. Although I've reached revision 5 with certain parts, there could still be print issues or opportunities for improvement. The only missing piece is the central section where L and R letters are printed (it has yet to break). This part may be challenging to print, even if it doesn't fail initially. You will also need to reuse the metal pin connecting the upper and middle parts or find a suitable replacement.
