BCN3DSigma- Bowden entry extruder + Cone
thingiverse
I had some faulty filaments that broke into tiny strands inside the Bowden tube leading to the extruder. I decided to bypass the inner Bowden tube by feeding the extruder directly. After testing several prints, it's working amazingly well! To get this setup right, I added a cone to the "BCN3DSigma - Bowden entry extruder" part and reattached it with the old screw. This new method is much simpler and faster now, reducing friction and saving time on cleaning and filament replacement errors - essentially, it's as close as I can get to a direct feed setup.
