BCN3D+ Z wobble bye
thingiverse
The Z wobble in the NC3D + can drive you crazy, so I decided to change the Z rods for some M8 leadscrew I had. The ones I used are typical of those bought on eBay, or you can ask your local supplier for them. All the information I have about adjusting the printer came from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:485246. Their article is excellent and you will learn a lot with it. The adjustments in the hardware depend on the pitch of the threaded rod that you put, so I left this link to calculate it for you: https://www.prusaprinters.org/calculator/#steppermotors. You can configure the number of steps of the Z axis directly from the control panel. In the menu to configure, movement, ZSTEP: 400 (In the case of 8mm per turn). The design is in its first phase and we will be improving it, but it works very well. It is very easy to change it in the printer and you don't need to disassemble it whole. We have modified the design to use those with a round lead nut, which are also the cheapest on eBay. I used 30cm M8 leadscrew so that they do not reach the top when loose at the top. It seems to work better this way, but I will try another size that reaches the top when I get the 35cm ones. Anyway, the improvement is extraordinary. The squares of the photo are printed with a single layer of skin and without filling.
