UPDATE 2018-05-16: Added support text under print settings. One big purge bucket to save them all! I've been dealing with a problem where the purge bucket gets full after just a few hours of printing. I'm not into messing around with my printer, so I came up with this design instead. It's the largest purge bucket that can fit inside the printer when you have the filament roll in place too. A big plus is that it doesn't add extra weight to the moving hot end assembly during a long print and purge cycle. I couldn't find any other solution like this anywhere else! This design also works great with my hood design. Here's what you need to print: 1 piece: Left_bucket_part1 2 pieces: Left_and_right_bucket_part2 1 piece: Left_No_bottom_purge_bucket 4 pieces: Fastening_knob_and_nut (threaded with M3) 1 piece: Right_bucket_part1 1 piece: Right_No_bottom_purge_bucket Part "Fastening_knob_and_nut" needs to be threaded with M3. This will replace two of the nuts and washers that hold the window. Don't worry if you're thinking it won't hold; I haven't had any issues with this. Part "Left_and_right_bucket_part2" is designed to be glued to Part1. Use your favorite glue, but in my pictures, you can see that I used duct tape because I was eager to try it out and didn't have time to wait. I haven't extensively tested this design yet, so if you find any issues, please let me know and I'll work on making it better. I've only tried it on a Prusa printer, but what I can see is that it should also work on other printers like the SIGMAX. EDIT 2018-09-05: I've now tested it for some time and it works really well. The one issue I had was with the knobs that fix the bucket - they broke easily. So, I might need to redesign them or use a stronger material than PLA. The big buckets can be a bit tricky to get under the hollow purge bucket on the sledge, but after doing it a few times, you'll learn how to turn them just right. Alternatively, you can remove the hollow purge buckets and add them back in after mounting the big bucket - this makes it much easier. To empty the buckets, the build plate needs to be in its lowest position, like when changing filament. You can bring them out at other positions too, but then you'll need to take away the small bottomless purge bucket. You can replace the filament with these buckets mounted. I hope you enjoy the design!
