BCN3D Sigma Hotend Family Holder
thingiverse
This is a custom hot end holder I created for the BCN3D Hotend Family. It's my very first design of this type, and it was featured on television actually. Ironically, you'll need to print with a 0.4mm nozzle to get the numbers to display correctly. No supports are required, which is a huge advantage. This holder securely holds both the hot end and the cable in place. The grip isn't super tight, but it's tight enough for most applications. I didn't take the best photo, unfortunately. My print settings were slightly off, with an overly fast speed and poor retraction, resulting in some ringing issues. However, I was printing at 60mm/s, which proved to be a bit too much for the orientation I chose. Print Settings: Printer: BCN3D Sigma Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 12%
