BCN3D Technologies continues advancing toward its goal of making digital manufacturing technology accessible to everyone. We are proud to introduce the BCN3D Moveo, a robotic arm designed from scratch by our engineers in collaboration with the Department of Education from the Generalitat de Catalunya. This innovative device is fully printed using additive manufacturing technologies and controlled by Arduino software, featuring Marlin-based firmware developed specifically for robot arms with steppers by Zortrax. The BCN3D Moveo boasts 5 axes. Moveo, now fully functional, was born with an open and educational spirit, just like all BCN3D Technologies products. Thanks to Github, a platform where users worldwide share their designs, anyone can obtain all necessary information to assemble their own BCN3D Moveo at home. BCN3D will provide comprehensive knowledge on our Github account, just as we have with all BCN3D Technologies products. Users will find the bill of materials (BOM), detailing all components needed for assembly, along with CAD designs and STL files for printing. This allows users to modify the BCN3D Moveo design as they see fit. Github users can also find assembly manuals, fine-tuning instructions, and firmware upload guides in both English and Spanish. Thanks to this project motivated by the Department of Education and developed by BCN3D Technologies, anyone can fabricate their own robotic arm at home without needing extensive technical knowledge.
