I'm tired of the old extruder that was mauling the filament. I'm using a 7mm diameter filament pulley (also known as the MK8 filament pulley). With it, my firmware extruder's feedrate is set at 138 steps per millimeter (driver setup is 16 microsteps). Extra parts needed: * A 7mm diameter filament pulley * One 624ZZ bearing * One M4x8mm flat head screw * Two M4 nuts I also switched to 1.75mm filament (the 3mm one was cracking apart overnight, and it was harder to feed).
