BCIT Mini Sumo Robot

BCIT Mini Sumo Robot

thingiverse

This Senior High School Electronics or Engineering project features 3D printing, circuit board manufacture, surface mount soldering, and optional Bluetooth communications to create a mini-sumo robot. The circuit board files are for DesignSpark PCB, while the Android App "BlueBots" can be used for testing Bluetooth functionality. Alternatively, programming options include a TV infra-red remote control or autonomous operation. With over two dozen successful constructions supervised, this project may require custom tire mold creation for perfect fitment. Included files provide further documentation, and the "BCIT TTED" imprint signifies its connection to British Columbia Institute of Technology's Technology Teacher Education program, which has been preparing technology educators since the 1960s.
