thingiverse

This is a binary coded switch featuring 8 distinct positions. It relies on three V-15 style microswitches for operation. The switches are secured in place using two 1/8" diameter rods, each measuring 1.5 inches long. For proper alignment, cams and shafts are fitted with small v-grooves. Cam 3 is positioned towards the rear, Cam 2 in the middle, and Cam 1 at the front. A 3/16" steel ball is inserted into Cam 1, accompanied by a short (.75" long) spring. This setup creates a detent at each rotated position. The assembly is held together using three 0.5mm screws (10mm in length).
