I designed this prototype as a demonstration of the Body-Centered Cubic structure, which is being studied in my materials engineering course right now. My objective is to create three distinct models – FCC, HCP, and BCC – for educational purposes. This 40mm sphere serves as the foundation for these models, showcasing the intricate geometry that characterizes each crystal system.
