<p>Instead of gluing the magnet onto the end of my Shimano XT's brake adjustment knob, I came up with this design to conveniently hold the magnet at the proper distance from the cutoff sensor.</p><p>Printed with Polylite PETG, 0.2mm resolution and 100% infill. You can print with no supports if you put the spine on the bed but I found it's stronger if you print this vertically and add supports for the overhangs. You'll see what I mean when you get it into your slicer.</p><p>Depending on how accurate your printer is you may need to add a bit of glue to the magnet to ensure it stays in the holder.</p><p>Magnet: 10mm outer diameter 3mm height</p><p>Printer: Prusa i3 MK3S+</p><p>UPDATE: Thickened the back spine to strengthen it.</p><p> </p>
