BBSHD Chain Guard
thingiverse
The Bafang BBSHD motor features a chain guard that is attached directly to the motor itself, making it independent from the bike frame. To install this chain guard, you'll need to shorten three small angle brackets and file them down as shown in the accompanying image. These modified brackets are then secured to the motor, serving as mounting points for the chain guard. Additionally, you will require 6 M4 x 10mm screws, 3 hex nuts (or locknuts), and 3 square nuts. The installation process involves attaching the mount to a bracket using screws, followed by securing a connector to the mount with additional screws. Finally, the top portion of the chain guard is pressed into place within the connector, without requiring any further screws for attachment.
