Connectors for building BBQ skewer structures will likely be developed over the summer to explore the strengths of widely used truss systems, perfect for bridge building projects that require no glue. This design differs from previous versions in that holes do not go all the way through except for the center, a vertical hole. Adjust the tolerance variable to slightly vary hole sizes. There are still some steps to take to maximize how many fit on the build platform. An update will be provided after deciding on ideal sizes. These connectors can be printed without rafts since rafts were sticking to the platform. The easiest way to get these off is to preheat slightly and pop them off with a spatula or use an allen wrench in one of the holes. The hardest part is accurately cutting BBQ skewers, which we cut using a die. The STL here takes 6 hours and 20 minutes to print on a flashforge creator pro.
