BBE - Belt Bowden Extruder

UPDATE! I've finally solved the problem of printing flexible materials, which often gets tangled up in the extruder; things are now working much better since I countersunk the bottom of the PTFE coupling (check out the pics). *************************************************** This is a belt bowden extruder designed for 1.75mm filament; it's mounted directly to the frame of my P3steel, but you can also use a metal or printed Nema 17 mount. Next, I'll try it on my CeXY H-Bot MK2 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3383389 Here are the parts I used: - A Nema 17 motor - A GT2 belt ring that's 150mm in diameter (this should also work with rings up to about 160mm) - A GT2 pulley with 16 teeth (20 teeth will also work just fine) - An MK8 drive gear with an ID of 5mm, an OD of 9mm, and a length of 11mm - A hard spring with an ID of 5mm, an OD of 7.5mm, and a length of 10mm - I cut a heat bed spring in half to get it - Three 625ZZ bearings that are 5x16x5 in size - A PTFE coupling with a 6mm thread; the bottom is countersunk (see pics) - An M5x40 Hex - Two M5x10 screws - Two M5 lock nuts - An M3x25 screw - An M3 lock nut - Three M3x8 screws (at least for the motor mount - be sure to add some mounting material thickness) Happy Printing!
