BBC Marconi-Reisz Microphone
thingiverse
I designed this microphone based on the classic BBC microphones from the 1920s to the late 1930s. Once you print it, take an old telephone receiver and carefully extract the microphone from it. Then, run some wires through the back of the receiver and connect them to the microphone. Finally, place the microphone in its case with some padding for a secure fit. To ensure a snug fit, insert a piece of fabric between the case and the cover. This will prevent the microphone from popping out and add a decorative touch. While there is room for improvement in the electronic component, it meets my needs perfectly. To scale up this design, increase the size to around 10 times its original dimensions. Unfortunately, inventor has a tendency to export STL files with incorrect sizes.
