This 3D model originated from a design created in Sketchup 8 and was later converted into various formats to be universally compatible. The native file format remains .skp, while the 3ds Max scene is compatible with 2016 version of that software, featuring renderings made using Vray 3.00. Upon uploading the original model to this platform, I realized it shared some similarities with an earlier design but lacked ideal proportions due to small Rubix Cubes and oversized TVs. Initially, my plan was to adjust the scale, repost, and fine-tune details to perfection; however, upon reviewing the initial post, I changed direction and created a completely new model from scratch. My intention for this updated 3D model was to capture an authentic retro feel and provide something distinctive at the same time. I aimed to achieve an iconic appearance by making all elements proportionate and visually appealing. With the Rubix Cube as an undisputed icon, I carefully curated every detail—from the vibrant arcade game displayed on the screen to the nostalgic hues of the TV itself—to create a design that harmoniously blended modernity with timeless charm. Through careful planning and creative iteration, I believe this 3D model successfully embodies the spirit of iconic nostalgia, offering users a unique blend of functionality and retro flair.
