This is a simple, fun-to-use cap gun that fires 6mm plastic BBs using standard 'Super Bang' blast caps as the propellant. *****Materials Needed:***** * 1 rubber band * 2 nails (size shown in picture above) * 1 8mm pen (standard size) *****ASSEMBLY:***** 1. First take apart your pen. 2. Next, cut the heads off of your nails, leaving about 5-6mm on the side that the head is attached to. One of these will be used for the hammer side. 3. Use any glue (preferably hot glue) to secure the head of the nail into part 1 of the cap gun. Optional: Add hot glue around the head to act as a buffer, which will prevent cracking. 4. Use any glue (preferably hot glue) to secure the two nails into part 1 of the cap gun. 5. Glue the hollow pen to part 2 of the cap gun. 6. Wind the rubber band around 2-3 times. 7. Enjoy! *****How To Use:***** 1. Drop a 6mm BB into the barrel (pen). 2. Load the cap onto the nipple by carefully lifting the hammer (part 2). 3. Aim in a safe direction. 4. Pull back the hammer. 5. Release the hammer. *****Note:***** * Be sure to dull or remove the sharp end of the nails. * Greater distances and velocities are achieved by using hobby-grade caps.
