Don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel! I'm passionate about 3D printing, designing, and creating engaging content for my audience. This is actually the second BB design I've created specifically for Google Home, and I think it's going to be a hit. If you're more interested in BB-8, check out this link on MyMiniFactory: https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-80549 If you don't have a Google Home device, no worries! You can still print BB-8 as a standalone model. Below is an awesome video that showcases the design's capabilities - and, as a bonus, I've included a link to a similar BB-9 design. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-5x7baY81o When printing this design, make sure to pay attention to a couple of details. First, ensure the USB connector is properly aligned with the head hole - it should loop in and out correctly. Second, be careful not to glue the front grill on upside down, or it'll cover up the dots (oops!). I learned that lesson the hard way! I printed this design without supports at all, but I did need to add a brim when printing the aerials. My settings were: layer height 0.15mm and no supports. To assemble the model, I used superglue - it's a quick and easy process. Hope you enjoy this unique design!
