For a hardware electronics kit including PDF instructions, an Android app, and NodeMCU Firmware, a chassis needs to be made. A smartphone must be acquired for installation of the remote control app. You can either control the head with a magnet or build a self-balancing robot in it. The Bal and Head are empty, waiting for your designs. Add a pocket beamer, range finder, Bluetooth comms between the bal robot and the head robot, and you'll have BB-8 complete! NOTE: If you can scale her up on your bed, do it - the tolerances are close. A 200x200mm bed should be able to scale her up to 1.01 to 1.05 times.
