BB-8 Head with LEDs
thingiverse
I wanted to incorporate LEDs into BB-8 to match my BB-9E design, so I revised wkarraker's excellent BB-8 dome/head to include ports for LEDs. The LEDs are powered by three LR44 button batteries. A sparre SPDT micro slide switch I had is used to turn the LEDs on or off. Depending on the switch chosen, modifications may be necessary to the bottom and bottom ring. A 200 ohm resistor was soldered to the positive legs of the red and blue LEDs, while a 120 ohm resistor was soldered to the white LED. The LEDs were then wired in parallel to the switch and batteries.
