Baymax bursts onto the scene in the 2014 Disney animated blockbuster Big Hero 6, where he's masterfully voiced by the talented Scott Adsit. As depicted in the film, this lovable inflatable robot was built by Hiro's ingenious older brother, Tadashi, with one thing in mind: to serve as a healthcare companion. Co-director Don Hall emphasizes, "Baymax sees the world from his unique perspective - he just wants to lend a helping hand, and for him, Hiro is his patient." Meanwhile, producer Roy Conli notes, "The fact that Baymax is a robot limits how we can convey emotions, but Scott's comedic genius shines through. He cleverly navigates those boundaries, crafting language that makes you feel Baymax's genuine emotions and dry wit. Scott skillfully conveys just how much Baymax cares." Big Hero 6 was released under the title Baymax in Japan and Germany, while Disney's armored version of Baymax makes a memorable appearance in Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes.
