Unfortunately, the thumb detached while being printed, causing a tiny support structure to dislodge as well. This marked the beginning of my 3ds max journey - creating a character model with all due respect for real-life inspirations found on YouTube. With some beginner's luck in handling 3ds max modeling, I'm starting from scratch. For a typical problem-solver like me who'd normally depend on Autodesk inventor, it was exciting to use meshmixer to blend things together since it had trouble printing legs and fingers that Makerware supports could generate by itself. Score: Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level 9.8 (Note: I did some small minor tweaks so that the score matches)
