This model originated with a comprehensive design using Sketchup 14, after which it was seamlessly converted into every conceivable 3D format available today. Its native file type remains .skp, while its counterpart in 3ds Max takes advantage of the full capabilities offered by 3ds Max 2016. As part of this meticulous project, Vray 3.00 played a pivotal role, with constant updates to guarantee optimal results up until August 30th. As a specific point of emphasis for the 2008 design titled "Design Your Dwelling," careful consideration went into creating an area roughly just under 2500 square feet. When envisioning this house, particular attention was given to crafting it around the visual aesthetic provided by the majestic golden gate bridge in its background, while concurrently designing the roof at an optimal angle. This angle ensures maximum solar exposure for the near 5.5 kW photo voltaic solar panels as well as a corresponding solar water heater placed directly on top. Notably, two bedrooms and their accompanying bathroom directly under the previously mentioned solar installation features solid walls stretching as high as nine feet in height. This unique arrangement seamlessly integrates into glass walls leading up to the ceiling. By connecting these two structural components, they form an uninterrupted expanse of light that also creates an atmosphere of openness throughout.
