Battletech Hex Hills "Foothills #2"
cults3d
I'm having some issues with my 3D printer and it's not cooperating as I'd like it to. The problem lies in the dimensions of the hex hills, which need to be exactly the same as those found on the Battletech hex map "Foothills #2". To achieve this precise fit, I've scaled the hexes to match the printed ones on your paper maps, with a height of 22.5mm. The top surfaces are scored between each hex but remain unmarked otherwise, so you'll need to add details like forests separately. This design allows for flexibility in using the hills later on open hex maps - you can swap and combine them as desired! Some files have a "W" at the end, which indicates that they have recessed spaces on the bottom to accommodate 1" or 1.5" washers. I've used these washers to weigh down my own hills. To make printing easier, some of the hills have been divided into parts to fit the Ender 3 print bed. These sections are labeled (1-2), (2-2), and so on.
