Battlestar Galactica - Viper Mark 2 V6

I made a few tweaks to this awesome model from 2014. The original lacked canopy framing, which I've since added in. When printing at full scale (200mm), I recommend scaling up to 130-140% for best results. At .1mm, the cannons were coming out poorly on my printer, so I'm itching to get a DLP/SLA printer - that would be a wonderful Christmas gift! To make printing easier, I chopped the model into more manageable pieces. Two separate bottoms are included, allowing you to insert a display stand through the 6mm hole where the engines are. On December 12th, 2017, I updated the Viper to its print-friendly version, addressing some tricky thin areas that made it hard to print in the previous iteration. I also added a display stand inspired by Colonial cut edge paper - though I haven't printed it yet, so let me know if you spot any issues. You can choose from two designs: one where the Viper hovers over the stand and another with the Viper standing upright. The optional peg for lighting up the model with an LED is included; simply separate it and attach a transparent filament to create a glowing effect. Just be prepared to modify the base to make it work. Finally, I borrowed the CAG badge from thingiverse.com/thing:1527402, so you can proudly display your allegiance to the Colonial Defense Forces on the Galactica.
