battleship hull (missouri)
thingiverse
This is a hull for a battleship, taken directly from the top half of the vessel and separated from the rest. I intentionally designed it to be hollow enough for weights or electronics, making it versatile and functional. Inside, there are side bars low enough to accommodate a quarter-inch thick piece of material for the deck, providing additional support and stability. However, one challenge I faced was with the top section of the ship, featuring buildings that were difficult to print due to excessive support material. This often resulted in parts breaking away during removal. Despite this issue, the hull's five-base design is still a work in progress, but when completed, it promises to be an impressive and visually stunning battleship model.
