BatteryTabs Battery Positioners for RC Lipo (Hook/loop Replacement)
thingiverse
These innovative connectors are designed to replace traditional hook and loop fasteners commonly used in radio-controlled (RC) and robotic applications. A battery strap is still required for secure connection. To attach one button (male or female), use a plastic-friendly adhesive such as epoxy or foam-safe CA, and apply it to your model. Attach the mating button to your lipo pack using the same type of glue. Typically, I place male buttons on the lipo, but placement is ultimately up to personal preference. The provided files include both single-pair and double-pair button positioners. Additionally, OpenSCAD files are included, allowing you to create custom triple-pair or higher sets by adjusting variables such as thickness and fit. Users can also modify other settings to suit their needs. With these connectors, enjoy a secure connection for your RC or robotic models. Print Settings: Printer: QuorXZ, Ultimaker Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1, 0.15, 0.2 Infill: 100% Post-Printing: If the fit is too tight, use a small round file to carefully smooth out the holes several times. If the connection feels too loose, you may need to adjust the SCAD file accordingly. Note that a snug fit is not essential; a strap will still be required for secure attachment.
