I've Designed a Massive 20,000mAh Lithium-Ion Battery Pack Using Six Samsung Cells. I'm proud to share my design for a massive 20,000mAh lithium-ion battery pack, built with six high-capacity Samsung INR21700-50E cells. The pack is designed for charging LiPos and requires some careful planning due to its size and power output. To ensure safe operation, I've left 3mm of space between each cell for airflow, which is essential given the cells' limited current capacity of 10A. This design choice helps prevent overheating and ensures reliable performance. The battery pack's housing consists of two parts: a PLA-printed cell holder and a larger box also printed in PLA. The cap is made from flexible TPU to provide a snug fit for the battery cells. To build this impressive battery pack, you'll need: * 24 Samsung INR21700-50E lithium batteries * Two meters of 5mm-wide Hiluminband (note: the cell holder is designed for 5mm width, but it might accommodate 6mm band) * One meter of 14-12 AWG silicon wire * One to two meters of 22 AWG silicon wire * A soldering iron with solder (spot welding is recommended, but I used soldering in this case) You'll also need PLA and TPU filaments in your preferred colors. Warning: Handling lithium-ion batteries requires caution. Soldering these batteries can be hazardous and may cause a fire or electric shock if not done properly. Proceed with extreme care and attention to safety guidelines.
