Battery tube clip holder for OpenROV
thingiverse
This video demonstrates attaching OpenROV's battery tubes to its frame using a 3D-printed "snap-action" holder. The purpose of this holder is to replace the cumbersome zip-ties that currently secure the tubes. Working with zip-ties can be challenging, especially when wearing gloves or in cold weather, so a snap-in design would be more user-friendly. To install, print out 3D parts, remove existing zip ties, drill 1/8th inch holes on each side of the ROV's bow, thread bolts through holders and mount to the frame, then simply push battery tubes into place.
