Battery Tray for HPI Flux XL
thingiverse
Update: I revisited this design after my friend came back and asked me to create a better mounting system. After learning more about CAD, I made the tray stronger and designed brackets for it to attach to. My friend purchased a Venom 5000mah 3.5c Fat pack battery that wouldn't fit in the built-in battery trays. He asked me to design one where he could mount it in the back half of the vehicle. I'll update with a picture of it installed in the RC when I see him next. Print Settings Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3/Monoprice Maker Select Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 50 Notes: If you're using Cura, scale the object 1% larger to compensate for shrinkage with PLA. For the brackets, mirror each one on whatever axis they are facing. How I Designed This I used Autodesk 123D to design this.
