Battery Terminal Covers
thingiverse
I designed these as an extra layer of protection against short circuits for my battery when removing it from my car or disconnecting it. Use is entirely at user's own risk. I accept no responsibility for any kind of damages or injuries whatsoever. It is the user's responsibility to make sure that fit is correct and that the material used is suitable for intended purpose. Plastic caps may shatter with impact, eliminating any protective value. As I printed them, these terminal caps fit my Diehard Gold 35 Group Size 12V battery. They are snug, but not so tight that they are difficult to remove. The positive terminal is larger than the negative terminal, so two different print files are provided accordingly. I have provided the FreeCAD file that I created in case you would like to alter the files for different terminal sizes, etc.
With this file you will be able to print Battery Terminal Covers with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Battery Terminal Covers.
