Battery Terminal (5/16) Wrench
thingiverse
I have a marine deep cycle battery kept on a charger to power through outages and hurricanes. The top of the battery features standard car posts, plus five-sixteenths threaded studs, which made it simple to attach the charger and other electronics. I needed a wrench that would always be within reach in case I had to disconnect something or reconfigure it. Since it's plastic, I knew I couldn't accidentally short anything out. To save space, I kept it short so it could fit into the tight spaces of my battery storage box. A small bracket keeps the wrench safely stored close at hand for when it's needed. The wrench is specifically designed for a five-sixteenths nut; it's not a five-sixteenths wrench.
