Battery Strap Well (for Big Drak)

This is my larger size rendition of Markq's awesome Mini Talon battery strap well that works perfectly on both of my Mini Talons. I liked it so much that I decided to increase the size and use it on my Big Drak to provide extra hold for the heavy 10,000mAh 5S Lipo when doing loops, inverted flight, or tight inverted turns and spins. This battery strap well is 78mm long x 40mm wide and accommodates the Pulse 26mm wide velcro strap (shown in the pictures). Just trace the outside dimension onto the bottom foam fuse and cut out a pocket for the well to sit just below flush level. After Goop'd in place, use a heated 4-40 rod to burn both strap grooves in the foam on both sides, and then run a 26mm wide Velcro strap. Follow up with laminate right over the top (see pics) to provide an airtight seal on the bottom of the fuse. Here are some Drak videos...
