This simple design is for converting AAA size batteries to AA size. It is very useful when you need an AA replacement but all you have is AAA. You will need an additional 6-7cm long copper wire which you can strip from a 1~1.5mm dia. electric wire (i did so). You need to curl the wire with a nose pliers to fit inside the tube as shown in the video and picture; that's all.
