After my trusty 2007 MacBook Pro bit the dust, I figured it was high time to breathe new life into some of its parts. The sound quality of those teeny speakers had always impressed me, so I decided to craft a battery-powered Bluetooth speaker from scratch. This little beauty is compact enough to slip easily into your laptop bag and delivers hours on end of listening pleasure thanks to its 1200 mAh battery. To give it that authentic look, I carefully cut the speaker grills straight from the MacBook's original ones.
