This is a battery mount for this type of battery pack: https://www.amazon.com/Duratrax-5000mAh-Battery-Standard-Connector/dp/B004AF88K0/ It offers a snug fit for both the battery and the cover, with the cover snapping into place with a firm push due to its size. The bolt holes have been countersunk for better clearance. The battery remains securely in place and is not intended for frequent removal since it requires sliding something down the sides and getting a good grip before extracting. I plan on recharging the batteries from within by connecting them to the charger, then inserting the thermometer into the box so that it's touching the battery snugly. Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 0.3 Notes: Printing this in a lower resolution and infill setting is possible, but I recommend using a thicker setting for the cover since it tends to bend as it comes off the print bed.
