I installed two battery monitors in my camper van, one to track every incoming charge and another to monitor every outgoing discharge. The unit was purchased from eBay by searching for "4 in 1 DC LCD Voltage Current Battery Monitor." The recessed buttons on these units require a small pin to push them in, which is not very convenient. The button is used to enable and disable the backlight as well as adjust settings. I created permanent buttons that can be screwed or glued next to the unit. They have a pin on the backside of the button that activates the recessed button. Here are three versions: - A black button - A button labeled "IN" - A button labeled "OUT"
