This device comes with a housing to sit atop my dash, eliminating the need for a large cutout. The monitor and housing function efficiently. I strongly advise printing in ABS or HIPS filament, which can withstand higher temperatures than PLA, as the dashboard area above the monitor can become quite hot when exposed to sunlight, even in the UK's climate.
