I made a cover for the Battery Losening Mechanism of my Velo de Ville "Tour 2Five" e-bike.The mechanism is fully exposed to the weather and absorbs moisture and dirt, which can then not only block the mechanism in the long term, but could also penetrate the charging port, which is located within the release mechanism.The cover is designed to be removable, slides on and locks onto the aluminum lever of the release mechanism. This solution is not intended to be completely waterproof. Water can penetrate from above but can also drain downwards.I tried this solution over the last few bad weather weeks in Germany and it works great.The BLC is designed to be printed on a FDM printer with 0,2 mm layers without any support.Edit 12.03.2024:I modified the cover for an easier print a bit: BLC V3 R5See how it works at this YT Short
