Battery Holder
thingiverse
I personal hate using velcro for my RC Batteries. You get different CGs as you don't always put the battery in the same place and you always need to buy velcro for new batteries. If it peels off (loses it stick at the field) then you need to make sure to have fresh with you. Maybe not quite that bad, but I don't care for it. So I made battery boxes that you can slide your batteries in and have the tab hold them in place. Quick and easy. Always there and works. After printing, I use a heat gun to slight bend the tab down for more pressure to hold the batter (on the 3S size which are a bit heavier.). I also print them in ABS for more flex / spring and durability? The 3S battery has a tray to glue the battery box on for my crack beaver. This allows me to mount the battery right between the gear flat and centered. When you can, glue the side of the box in a corner. For sides that are not in a corner I use a piece of Blenderm tape glued between the box side and mounting surface.
