Battery Holder

Battery Holder

thingiverse

I opened up my hand vacuum after it stopped working and discovered a battery pack made up of 12 cells inside. I carefully separated each cell and inspected them one by one. Eight out of the 12 cells were still in great condition, so I decided to reuse them. To keep them organized, I created a simple battery holder that can hold six batteries at once. A large screw holds the batteries together and also serves as a mounting point for the holder. Keep in mind that the batteries found inside your hand vacuum are often custom-sized, which can make finding replacements challenging. My batteries, for instance, are sub-C cells with dimensions of 43mm in length and 23mm in diameter. To connect the batteries safely, simply solder them together, but be quick to avoid overheating the batteries.
