Battery Holder Makita 18V
thingiverse
This thing is a battery holder designed specifically for an 18V Makita battery. The design was crafted with precision, but it's missing one key element: taps. To compensate for this, I intentionally designed it to match the thickness of regular 1/2" or 1/4" copper pipe, which measures 1.5mm in diameter. A cutout measuring 1.3mm in width, 25mm in length, and 7mm in height was carefully crafted to accommodate the taps. I created this battery holder as a versatile base for future projects, and you can expect to see some of these endeavors come to life if I manage to find the time to design and upload them. To make your remodeling process smoother, I've uploaded not only the STL file but also the FCSTD file for FreeCAD. This will allow you to work with the design more efficiently and effectively. Update: I've revised the model to fit better, although I encountered a few minor issues while placing the contacts in their designated spots. As a result, I've marked the new design as "may not fit" to indicate potential compatibility concerns.
