Battery holder for school science project

I helped out a neighbor this weekend with this project and it required some battery holders for D size cells and some modification to an old led lamp base to take an incandescent lamp. The lamp is actually an old 4V exciter bulb for cold cathode vacuum tubes. The result was very pretty. Hope the kid gets good marks for the project. The battery holders work a treat, I used a bit of hot melt to secure the battery fully into the holder. Enjoy, Kind regards, Duncan
