Battery Holder- customize to fit

This is a series of parts designed to help you create your own custom battery holder tailored to your specific needs. Initially, I envisioned a solid base for this design but later revised it to incorporate a mesh base, which significantly reduces filament usage and print time. These designs yield a rack measuring 192 mm x 145 mm (7.5" x 5.75"). If you prefer not to glue parts together, you can simply extrude the battery holder up from its current size of 5mm in height to a dimension that securely accommodates the batteries (20-30 mm will suffice). Then, slice the model for printing. To optimize filament and time efficiency, print as many spacers as you anticipate needing (I used 2 D, 1 C, 2 AA, 2 AAA, and 2 9V), along with a base of your choice. Finally, add a top that matches your selected components. The pre-made assorted battery holder (battery holder mesh base.stl) has been designed to accommodate: 4 D cells 5 C cells 40 AA batteries 30 AAA batteries 4 9V batteries 8 CR2032 button cell batteries The D cell holder (Battery holder D cell only.stl) holds up to 20 batteries, while the C cell holder (Battery holder C cell only.stl) can hold 35 batteries. Additional STL files have been added: Battery holder C cell only short top and bottom. Using these files in combination with five C cell spacers will yield a rack that still accommodates 35 C cells but requires significantly less filament for printing. If you're interested in creating a single-type battery rack (AA, AAA, D, etc.) using this more efficient format, please leave a comment specifying the size you require, and I'll generate the STL files accordingly.
