Battery Hold Down

Battery Hold Down

thingiverse

My first upload. I recently purchased a used Traxxas Stampede without a battery hold down. However, after checking prices, I decided to design and 3D print my own instead of buying one. The process was straightforward. In Tinkercad, I created the design by tracing the bitmapped Traxxas logo in Inkscape and saving it as an SVG file. Then, I imported the logo into Tinkercad and resized it to fit perfectly on the Stampede. To verify post-to-post dimensions, I used the same measurements for this specific truck model. However, I'm unsure if these dimensions will apply to other Traxxas trucks. I've included spacers in case you need them, depending on your battery size. Note: This is my third design of a battery hold down for the Stampede. At first glance, it seemed like an easy task, but I kept finding ways to improve it. To make the logo stand out more, I made this latest version larger. This should ensure that even with a budget-friendly 3D printer, the Traxxas logo will turn out clear and crisp.
