Battery hatch clip
thingiverse
It's incredibly frustrating when your remote controller loses its battery cover due to a broken clip - super glue just won't stick because of the tiny surface area. You don't have to replace the entire battery hatch; instead, simply repair the clip and maintain the original look and feel. To get started, remove any remaining bits from the old clip and smooth out the surface with some sandpaper. Next, print a new clip that's large enough to provide sufficient bonding area. Then, use cyanoacrylate glue to secure it in place - as shown here using a VU+ Duo2 remote control as an example. Remember, when printing parts like this, make sure to determine the direction of the printing layers. This will help you avoid prints where bending occurs through the layers.
