Battery for Metabo Drill / Akkuschrauber 14.4V Li-Ion for 18650 cells
thingiverse
I've got some spare 18650s lying around and a busted Metabo battery pack that's beyond repair. Since the original design is straightforward, but extracting the cells from their plastic casing can be a real pain, I came up with a new version that provides a perfect fit. If you know how to handle a soldering gun, you should be good to go; the rest of the process is a breeze, and you'll end up with a significantly stronger battery pack. The next replacement will be a whole lot easier. Just make sure to keep the original charging circuit board, white connector, and case intact, as these are essential components. You'll also need some short lengths of wire to connect the batteries. Have fun building it! This design should work seamlessly with 14.4v series drills.
