Battery drawer for Multiplex Easyglider 4
thingiverse
Installing the battery of EsayGlider is critical to insure godd balance of the plane (CG position). Multiplex rproposes to use "Velcro" tape to fix the battery into the fuselage. This is not simple neither efficient... I have designed this battery drawer which helps A LOT to position the battery at the exact location where the CG is. It works with genuine Multiplex lipo 3s 2200mAh (ROXXY EVO LiPo 3S - 2200mah 20C 316655 Multiplex) I did use this battery on the attached pictures but with XT60 connectors instead of proprietary Mutliplex ones... The drawer inserts between the battery body and the balance connector. then it slides into the fuselage until it locks into the belly "pocket" behind the servos. A top embossed part is pushed down by the grey cockpit part of the plane and prevents the drawer to move. It should work with other batteries provided they have the same weight and dimensions. It's printed with PET filament made from plastic soda bottles : https://hackaday.io/project/185196-pullstruder-from-plastic-bottle-to-pet-filament
