I have successfully upgraded my Phantom 1 into an impressive Phantom 2 Case. When you embark on this conversion, you will encounter three significant challenges that require your attention. Firstly, you need a battery door that fits seamlessly with large LiPos. The bay of the P2 is surprisingly wide and most common LiPos are relatively long, posing a challenge for finding a compatible fit. Secondly, you want the LED board positioned in a location where it is easily visible from the back of the drone. This will not only enhance its aesthetic appeal but also provide valuable information about the flight status. Lastly, you need to ensure that the USB port is easily accessible for convenient charging and data transfer. After overcoming these challenges, I am thrilled to report that my upgraded Phantom 2 is now flying smoothly with a powerful 3S 5600mAh battery. The impressive flight time exceeds 25 minutes, making it an absolute joy to operate. Enjoy your upgraded drone experience!
